ive been having a cold this past few weeks and i dont have a sore throat anymore its gone now now i still have my runny nose now except theres this yellow sticky gooey kind of think stuff with some blood come out of my nose and when i blow my nose my head hurts like my heads and upper cheek is hurting especially my temple area i still have this horrible headache its like the gooey mucus is all in my head and making my head husrt alot and heavy like i have a really bad headache and it hurts especially when i blow my nose and the blood and yellow stuff comes out so does any doctor know what this is and how i can treat it because it hurts and i dont feel like its going away its like the mucus is putting pressure on my head and inside my head but idk so can you please tell me how to treat it and what is it it used to be just white and not as gooey stuff come out but then it progressed to that so what is it?? any doctors can help me

ReplyDeleteBrittany - i had something like this it could be an inner ear infection or a sinus infection either way its an infection and you should see a doctor about it before it spreads further if it hasnt already
ReplyDeletefoxfirevigil - yep, you have advanced to the dreaded sinus infection. you will be miserable until you get an antibiotic from a doctor. a cold is a virus, nothing to do but wait it out, but when the mucous turns yellow you have a secondary bacterial infection...time for antibiotics.
