My daughter has a sea food allergy do you think she could go to a aquarium and she won't have a allergic reaction??? because it smells a lot like fish I know she's not eating it but the smell is so strong...... Thanks =) My daughter is 10 if that helps

What's Up With The Bloody Nose?

I've had nose bleeds since I was a little girl so I'm used to getting one once a year or so. I usually get one after I've had really bad allergies or a cold. I haven't had one since 2 years ago but just last week I got one while I was at the store. It stopped after 4-5 minutes. Maybe even less than that. Anyway, I had a feeling I would get one because I was getting really bad headaches a few days before. Well I got one again on Monday. It only lasted a little bit because I know how to stop them right away. Last night I was at the store and again I got another nose bleed. I was sniffling and cleaning my nose with the Kleenex a lot then that's when it started to bleed. This morning I woke up because I felt my nose stuffed and really itchy and my right eye was a little swollen and red too. I had a feeling I would get a nosebleed and yes about a few second later after I got to the bathroom I got another one. Now I don't get scared when I get one because I've had them since I was a little kid but 3 days in a row?? Now I'm feeling a little concerned. I don't know if it's the weather or if it's being caused by something else but it has been pretty warm during the day and then it gets really cold at night where I live. I decided to call the doctor and make an appointment. He told me he can see me until tomorrow. He said if I can't wait to go to the Urgent Care. Should I be worried? Has anybody ever had consecutive nose bleeds? Thanks for your help.
Nick- No I don't hold my head back. That's never a good idea but I do tilt my head forward. You have constant nose bleeds? That sucks.

And I'm not sure if it runs in my family. I don't think so.

I went out feeling fine and came back with congested nose, headache, cough, sore throat and my ears keep going funny, (keep popping, getting blocked etc).

I was at my Grandmas today, she sort of smokes like a chimney, there was like 6 people smoking in one room, her house is also quite dusty with a lot of clutter and there was also 4 poodle dogs too.
At the time, I just kept on sneezing like mad, literally 20 times in a row, I also started coughing and my head also started to ache.

Now I'm back at home, I just feel awful and can't stop coughing etc. I did take an allergy pill 1hr ago, but it hasnt really done anything yet.
I thought it was an allergy, because dust does make me sneeze a lot.
What else can do?

I need to feel better soon, because I'm working at the hospital tomorrow.

Should I Be Worried About Mold?

A pretty small puddle of water formed outside of my shower. The water puddled by the base board on the tile floor about 1/4-1/2 inch deep in about a 2 foot by 3 foot area. I cleaned it up within minutes but a small bit may have gotten under the baseboard. I am currently running my fan for about 2 hours and i dried near the baseboard thoroughly. Should I be at all concerned about mold???

For the past 4 days my lips have felt really strange, like they are tight and dry and it just won't go away. They don't have any bumps on them but they feel very rough if they are dry. Could this be an allergic reaction to lip gloss? I did get a new kind of lip gloss last week and I wonder if thats causing this problem although i have never had an allergic reaction to lip glosses before. Also now I can only use blistex to soften them because putting any kind of lip balm on them makes them burn and itch really bad and I have to take it off right away. Please help I'm freaking out about this.

Throughout this current winter, as well as last year’s, my nose has bled incessantly. They last from a minimum of ten minutes and maximum of forty. I am a slight hypochondriac, and not quite pleased with the sight of blood – therefore, the nosebleeds always become a rather dramatic event. Just when I was learning to calm down and manage them logically, I had my first public nosebleed. This was in the middle of a mall food court, and the bleeding was heavy… Not only was I frightened, but so embarrassed, which certainly didn’t help my blood pressure/flow!

In a matter of weeks, I will be flying cross-country. The juxtaposition of high altitudes, dry cabin air, and 'public exposure' frightens me immensely. Is there a way to prevent nosebleeds, whether they occur in-air or in the airport?
