When ever you say something and someone corects you, with no proof or anything against you and it's obvious you're right?
Example:
Girl1 and Girl2.
Girl1 has had her braces off for a year, her teeth are nice and white and very very straight.
Girl2 who has litterly had hers off for a day. Girl1 "my orthadontis says I don't have to wear my retainer to school."
Girl2 imedantly responds "then your teeth are gonna grown back crooked and be the same." She says matter-a-factly. When obviously it isn't true.
This happened to me and got kind of ticked at my friend. I reply, some what annoyed "no they're not. I've had them off for a year (name). So don't say things you know are not true."
Please tell me if I over reacted to this or if this situation has happened to you when you acted the same
Marek - Listen, I've been through a lot of stuff, but nothing ticks me off more than bad grammar.
ReplyDeleteEm - Yeah, you're overreacting a little, mostly because you went and asked a question about it online. I agree that it was pretty unnecessary of her to say that... I might've responded in a similar fashion... But just get on with your life.
