Angie - Dry winter air and heating can cause nosebleeds, as can allergies and some other serious medical conditions (like high blood pressure). Try using a humidifier, and a saline rinse (like Neti-Pot) can help. If it continues, you should see your doctor.
Abi - Maybe a humidifier would help. Just have it in your room. My nose bleeds a lot especially during winter when it is cold and dry.
