depends what type of excercise you do. if you burn 500 calories per day 7 days a week you will lose 1 lb per 7 days. if you wanted to lose 2 lbs per week you would need to burn 1000 calories per day 7 days a week and so on. a lb of fat is equal to 3500 calories hence 500 per day to lose a lb per week.
also excercising alone wont let you lose much weight. to figure how many calories you should eat you need to.figure.out your BMR. to.figure this out use this formula.
655+(4.3 x your current weight)+(4.7 x your height in inches)-(4.7 x your age)
this will give you your BMR
once you get the answer you will need to multiply your answer by one of.the following
1.55 (if your activity level is moderately active.meaning moderate excercise 3-5 days a week) 1.75(if your activity level is very active meaning hard excercise 6-7 days a week)
the answer.you get from this calculation will tell.you.how.many calories you need to consume to lose weight
