I'm 23 yrs old and have 2 benign cysts in one of my breasts. One cyst is on the small side and the other one is quite large. I have have both of them biopsied with a needle. My doctor warned me that I have to keep checking them yearly because although they are benign there is a chance they could apparently turn cancerous (but rarely). It's been a few months since the biopsies but I feel like the large cyst is bigger. Is this normal?
Amrit - as u have a history of the benign cysts, u should not take chances if u have any trouble related to your breast, u should immediately consult your doctor. as u see in cases as of yours, cancer can return at any time as it is triggered by basic things such as food, environment u live in and many others. so u should immediately consult your doctor with whom u had earlier consulted.
ReplyDeleteChemoAngel - Yes, it's very normal. What you are feeling is the result of the biopsy. Keep all of your doctor appointments, and you'll be fine.
