Am I under calculating cals? And I also went for an hour hill hike today. Around how many cals did I consume ll in all today

ReplyDeleteSarah - Honestly, I don't know how to picture it with your weight but you can't be too bad because i am 5'2" and I weight 156. Also, I am 14.
ReplyDeleteyou suck - most people need at least 2000 calories a day... some more! everyone should eat at least 1700 calories a day, because that's how much the average body burns in a day of just laying down and not moving at all, believe it or not! so no, i dont think you ate enough, but you are certainly eating healthy, which is very good! trust me, the majority of girls our age have lots of weight issues. we're always worried about gaining weight, and feel like we gained 5 pounds after one unhealthy meal! you should eat more, especially with your hour of excercise! that's great that you're excercising for that long, too! the key to burning fat is ultimately building muscle, and eating healthfully. ultimately its all better for your body anyways! please remember that everyone was born with a natural body type... your body is actually set to maintain itself at a certain, ideal weight. this will keep everything functioning properly. and things like weight or pants size don't necessarily determine if someone is "fat". remember you're beautiful the way you are, always, and have confidence in yourself. this is coming from someone who went through these same issues. i was so insecure, and i'm still working on that. but you can do it! i dont think you're fat, but if you want to lose weight, go for it, and do it the healthy way! it'll be better for your body to eat healthily and excercise! good luck!
ReplyDeleteF P - No, you're fine. Doctor says your weight could be at high end of scale because of large frame. Example: If you're 5'5" you should weigh 125 lbs at high end. At low end, 5'5" and 115 lbs. Multiply 3,4,5 times the number of inches over 5'. Understand?

ReplyDeleteAnd your only eating about 1160 calories so my guess is if your doing any kind of physical activity you will definitely loose weight.
An average adult male will burn about 2400 calories in a day from doing nothing.
