  1. Roy - Hi Trish,
I don't mean to be insensitive but you need to know that chemo is one of the worlds top causes of death. After all, that's what it's designed to do, it's a mixture of toxins designed to kill cells! Oncologists try to use it to kill the tissue around cancer cells but it gets into the bloodstream and kills cells all over the body (that's why chemotherapy victims often lose their hair). Interestingly, a recent survey showed that 85% of oncologists said that they would definitely not use chemotherapy on themselves or members of their own family.

Your already weak immune system is now doing all that it can to defend your body from the r-chomp chemo, and it doesn't have time to deal with your cold.

I would recommend looking into Gerson Therapy, it's easy to do and a lot more effective than chemotherapy, radiation and surgery. There are several books on the subject as well as videos on youtube.

Before making any other decisions, watch 'The Beautiful Truth' on youtube, it's great documentary on curing cancer and all sorts of other 'incurable' conditions.

    Good luck!

  2. lo_mcg - Roy, do you simply believe anything you read on the internet without doing any research?

'Interestingly, a recent survey showed that 85% of oncologists said that they would definitely not use chemotherapy on themselves or members of their own family.'

This claim often made by supporters of alternative medicine, but only by those who haven't take a few minutes to investigate the claim. It is a distortion of the results of a very small survey, a distortion is often repeated by people too lazy to check the facts or too gullible to question what they're told.

Here's where that so-called statistic originates:

In 1986 a questionnaire was sent to 118 doctors who treated non-small-cell lung cancer, many of whom were involved in trials at McGill University of chemotherapy drugs for lung cancer. They were asked to imagine that they themselves had cancer, and were asked which of the six current trials they themselves would choose. 79 responded, 64 of whom (approx 80%) said they would not consent to be in a trial containing Cisplatin, one of the drugs being trialled and a common chemotherapy drug.

An interesting result, but a far cry from ''85% of physicians would refuse chemotherapy '' . Read the facts about this questionnaire, and a follow-up questionnaire a year later, here:

Gerson therapy is a huge money-spinner that hasn’t been proven to have been effective against a single case of cancer. These links are, in order, an answer I have given before on Gerson (too long to reproduce here); an excellent and informed article on Gerson’s famous 50 best cases (only 4 of which appear remotely credible); and some information from Quackwatch:

'chemo is one of the worlds top causes of death' Can you provide a link or reference to some evidence for this claim? Otherwise people might think you're, you know, making it up.

  3. Roy - Hi lo_mcg,
    thanks for answering my answer!

    I totally agree with you!

Don't just believe whatever is said by someone claiming to be an expert.

My motto throughout my experience of curing 'incurable' conditions has been 'question everything!'

It has also been an important part of the philosophy of the worlds greatest doctors, including Dr. Norman Walker, who cured himself of his 'incurable' condition as a young man, and enjoyed perfect health until his death at about 100 years of age, and Dr. Max Gerson. Nobel laureate Dr. Albert Schweitzer, after watching Dr. Gerson cure several members of his family (including himself) of differnt conditions that the medical establishment had claimed were 'incurable' and terminal, exclaimed "I see in Dr. Max Gerson one of the most eminent geniuses in the history of medicine."

Interestingly, although Dr. Norman Walker and Dr. Max Gerson worked completely independently of each other, their conclusions and treatments are remarkably similar; lots of enemas or colonic irrigations to detoxify the body, plus lots of freshly squeezed enzyme-rich fruit and vegetable juices to boost the immune system without putting unnecessary strain on the digestive system of the already weakened patient, and NO pointless (apart from making huge profits for the pharmaceutical companies), and dangerous drugs such as chemo.

I won't spend time here talking about 'Quackwatch', it's already been done many times. For a quick résumé of the Quackwatch story, you can go to this site:

Best wishes for healthy 2012 to Trish and to yourself,

    Roy

  4. Albian - Myself I always had a cold when I was young, all year round! My health improved when I became vegetarian as a teenager but I would still get bad colds every now and then until I read that milk products are the most mucus forming 'food' that exist. Since then, whenever I feel like I have a cold coming, I stop eating all milk products for about a week. I honestly can't remember the last time I had a cold, it must have been about a decade ago when I read about the milk thing!

Oh and don't pay too much attention to doctors, they're trained to make money for the pharmaceutical companies by selling symptom-reducing drugs, not to heal, most know little if anything about health. Do your own research, and see what works for you!
