John W - No, it's probably not from pre-diabetes or diabetes. It takes years of uncontrolled glucose for neuropathy to form.
ReplyDeleteYou should have your family try low carb christmas recipes such as the christmas cookies below.
Your body regulates many things such as your temperature, and many chemicals and hormones in your body, it also regulates the glucose level in your blood, diabetes is when your body isn't able to reduce your glucose level with insulin, pre-diabetes is when the body isn't quite as able to catch up. You can shift your diet to low gycemic index foods so that the glucose comes out more slowly therefore you don't have to produce as much glucose but you have to have glucose for longer periods of time and you can exercise more thereby helping your body keep your glucose in check but this doesn't really cure diabetes, it only helps manage it as you're consciously helping your body with the regulation, that's all that treating diabetes is, helping your body balance the glucose.
Li - I would say what is happening is that your body is getting the nutrients, vitamins, enzymes and overall veggie goodness it needs!
ReplyDeleteKeep it up, you will continue to feel good if you continue to eat goo... well.
