Okay. So, I'm kinda freaking out. I'm a 13 year old girl, and idk what's wrong with me. I just passed out! My mom has diabetes, so idk if that's what it is? Idk anything about diabetes, but idk why else I would pass out. Like if I stand up after sitting for a while, I am dizzy. But ive passed out probably 5 times total in my life, and my parents still don't know. I need answers.
John - Go to a doctor and stop wasting time. Your health is important.
ReplyDeleteAkimi - Getting dizzy and passing out if you get up too fast is normal dont worry you probably just need more circulation and more activity. Still you should tell your parents anyways just I case.
ReplyDeleteJohn W - It's Vasovagal Syncope, it's very common. Probably nothing to do with diabetes.
ReplyDeleteCrissie Lillie - See if you can test on your mom's meter to rule out any possibilities of diabetes. I'd talk to your doctor though.
ReplyDeleteNoccie - It is NOT diabetes. Diabetes would not cause you to pass out. Anytime a person passes out he/she should be seen by a doctor as soon as possible afterwards - that is the only way to get a proper diagnosis. It may be positional hypotension (low blood pressure when you change positions, or it could be a type of seizure or it could be an inner ear problem. People do not normally pass out so you really have to see a doctor about this.
