Are you referring to circulating plasma or plasma that is extracted during blood draws?
Circulating plasma is in a continuous state of filtration and replenishment. Since it is a liquid it is not possible to conclude when the entire amount of plasma in circulation is replaced volume for volume.
Katie - I asked a staff member at a Biomat plasma center in Salt Lake City Ut, and she told me that plasma can be stored for 10 years before it will go bad!
