How Could I Eat More Calories?

396545382 I am 5'4 110lbs, give or take throughout the day. My doctor says I need to gain weight to be a little closer to an healthier average. So I have been trying to keep track of my calorie intake daily. I am a little shocked that I usually hit around 700-800 calories, my average is 760. I suppose, it is because of my sporadic schedule, I hardly have a chance to get a break. I often make up for my random eating habits during the week, I treat my fridge like a buffet at least one night out of the week! Nevertheless, I would like to up my calorie intake, while eating healthy, and hopefully I won't feel the need to pig-out once a week, :)

  1. ninja farmer's wife - I think adding more protein to your diet would be good. How about a nice peanut butter bagel with lots of peanut butter? Or a tortilla with beans and cheese? Also it might be good to use some protein powder to bulk up a smoothie/shake.

  3. Joseph the Second - You NEED to eat between 1,000 & 1,200 Calories a Day to get up to your "Ideal Weight." And You can do THAT- simply by drinking a Milkshake of Your choice- Every Day. You'll get the Calories, the Extra Calcium, & (eventually) the extra 10 Pounds you're looking For... :)

  4. ATL411 - Avoid processed foods and don't start pounding Mountain Dews. Stick with mainly breads, the amount off carbs are high in calories. Or you can buy a weight gainer. It is meant for weight lifters and packed with carbs, protein, and calories, shop online
