i know im not pregnant because i have period and i have gotten pregnant before which is a horrible feeling and i had a abortion but i feel slight nausea in the morning along with no appetite i still eat because its healthy and i will get starved by lunchtime if i dont eat but its kinda annoying do u think its Paxil the medication im taking thats causing it? one of the side effects was loss of appetite but i feel ok at afternoons and evenings. John W - I think that's something that even Doctors will take a pass on. There's a lot that could cause a loss of appetite and a Doctor may or may not be able to help you with that. As you are posting on the diabetes forum, there are two effects, the dawn effect and the Somogyi phenomenon that could raise glucose levels in the morning which might contribute to a loss of appetite though I think it would be just as likely to increase appetite. The Internet doesn't actually show the loss of appetite as a side effect of Paxil. This is defintely something that requires the stock see your Doctor response but I don't think your Doctor would be able to sort it out either, you should still see him though, he might get lonely.
