Do I Have Diabetes (i Think I'm Showing Symptoms)?

396545384 My hands, ankles, and feet would tingle every now and then. I do spend a lot of time at the computer if that's the other thing. But I happened to run a Google search earlier and happened to find that tingling of... well... any part of the body and the excessiveness of it COULD be diabetes. I have had a lot of sugary snacks lately because it IS the holiday season. Also, every time I drink some iced tea and take in a pinch of the iced tea mix (it's REALLY good) my hand would tingle! For a long time too!

*sighs* I've been really depressed and things like that and I have prayed that I would live a short life so this could all be over with. On top of this I have a lump on the crown of my head. It's been there for a while and though i haven't felt a difference in size overtime, I think it might possibly be growing subtly. Well, I did wish for a short life, but I'd rather have cancer than diabetes and I have one mission to accomplish before I leave Earth: finish God's purpose.

Anyway, I heard that there's no cure for diabetes but I hope that's not true. Thoughts?

  1. Noccie - No. What you are describing doesn't sound even a wee little bit like diabetes.
You need help with your depression.

  2. John W - You don't have diabetes, not even close. Neuropathy only happens after decades of high glucose levels and is the result of poorly managed diabetes not a symptom that would indicate diabetes. Sugar does not cause diabetes anymore than a high fever causes the flu. You probably don't have cancer either. You're probably doomed to live a normal life and you should perhaps find ways of enjoying it.

  3. violetmimmie - You should see a physician and also a therapist/psychiatrist. Life is worth living and you need help to realize that. Good luck and God bless.

  4. John Smith - Why don't you get yourself checked by a doctor for proper and precise diagnoses. Make a few changes in your diet. Like do not consume alcohol or sugar. Try replacing sugar with natural sweeteners like Natvia http://natvia.com/ it should help. Also make exercise an integral part of your life.
