I had a urinary blockage Nov 2010.....creatinine was 8.5...had blockage cleared, then at 6.0..went to 4.5 for month...then 3.0 which I am at now and have been for three months...any chance I could get back to normal here it is over a year.
micksmixxx - I'm not sure how you expect anyone to offer a reasonable response, my friend, when you don't indicate the cause for your urinary blockage.
reddhotz2000 - Please follow up with the MD who did all of this testing and treated you. It's not safe to diagnose and advise on the internet...In fact, it's not legal, either. Your kidneys and creatinine are nothing to fool around with.
creatinine raise in your case was because of obtruction and there is fair high chance, that your creatnine will become normal. keep watch on obruction it should not recur.
