mitchell - I'm a 19 year old male, highly active and had the same exact problem no more than a week ago. My family comes from a tribe in north-east Ohio and when my family visited i asked if there's any solutions/ what's causing it. My pain was in the center of my chest, half way down my ribs, and occasionally in my back and arm. Believe it or not sometimes gas bubbles can be held somewhere to the point where it builds up so much once they finally can escape, it causes pain across a section of your body. I was told to stick to drinking water and eat meats and after about five days the pains passed. Hope this helps.
