Will I Loose Weight If I Only Eat Rice And Beans For A Week?

  2. Marina - if you want to lose a weight you need to eat salad all week, or search different healthy diets in the Internet , rise can help too but you need a proper diet to lose your weight which will be longer than week. any diet to lose the weight need to be more than week to have results.

  3. himynamesmoe - Well a week is short term so maybe you will loose a little but probably gain it right back. Maybe if you did it for a month or something that would be diFferent.. celeberties also have a lot of pressure to stay fit and look good and probably do more than just eat rice and beans they probably just say that to make it seem more effortless to them but losing weight takes determination and that jaZz

  4. VA - I too have wondered that. On I'm a celebrity, they are there for up to 3 weeks, and secretly behind the scenes will be a nutritionist calculating portion sizes that are then delivered, which are quite small but enough to survive on. Also they get added protein for their evening meal when they have done well in a task, plus added veggies. Both are necessary for good health, though beans will provide some protein.
    Those who lose the most weight are the celebs who are overweight to start with. This year I bet Willie Carson didn't lose much. So it would depend how much you have to lose.
    Also they are in a restricted and controlled environment. in the real world it would be very hard to copy this sort of diet without cracking and starting to eat something more tasty.
    If you are overweight and wanted to follow a rice and beans diet I would suggest checking out Slimming Worlds website and their green diet where rice and beans are unlimited foods, along with fruit, vegetables, pasta, eggs and some other types of food eg Quorn, and they have tasty recipes that make the basic rice and beans into more interesting meals, this way you could keep up the diet for longer and stay healthy while losing weight. It is based on vegetraian food but if you eat meat you can add this each day as an extra, so it suits everyone
