I had a abd. ct scan yesterday after presenting to er with what was later diagnosed as possible food poisoning. Radiologist who read scan said there was what appeared to be a small apple core lesion in my transverse colon. I have a follow-up in a few days with surgeon. The Er doc. explained that after speaking to surgeon, this could also be caused by artifact during the scan. My question is are all of these lesions cancerous?
Dr.dhananjaya Bhupathi - No. However, U may cross check with the real symptoms of cancer.
