Leena - Have you tried using plain yogurt, and changing your underwear?
Yeast infection takes a long time to cure and has a high chance to come back. I've never had it myself, but I knew some friends who did. The medicine you can get only masks the effects for a while, they don't kill the source of the problem. One of my friends bought this book that teaches how to kill the infection naturally and tried the yogurt thing too, and it worked for a month but it came back. She then tried a bread and no sugar diet, which worked until now, but she says that her infection isn't completely gone, although it's much better now. She also changed her soap, sleeping position, underwear, and exercise regimen. I found a review of the book below in case you're interested. You should try using non-cotton underwear, and the medicines are good for temporary relief. Vagisil didn't work for my friend, so I'm not sure it'll work for you. Has your infection been getting worse over time?
