Since as long as i can remember i've always had cat allergies, really bad ones when i was younger. I avoided cats like the plague. I visited my boyfriends house for the first time and as soon as the cat came close i started sneezing, after a while my eyes swelled and my nose was very runny but i kept coming over. And now he just noticed, it's been two months and i rub my face against his cats fur and i might have a sneeze here and there but that's it, nothing. Why Are My Cat Allergies Improving?
Since as long as i can remember i've always had cat allergies, really bad ones when i was younger. I avoided cats like the plague. I visited my boyfriends house for the first time and as soon as the cat came close i started sneezing, after a while my eyes swelled and my nose was very runny but i kept coming over. And now he just noticed, it's been two months and i rub my face against his cats fur and i might have a sneeze here and there but that's it, nothing. I thought allergies are not supposed to improve?

Hgalah - I have been allergic to cats all of my life but we have always had them as pets. After time, my allergies got better because I was growing a tolerance to them (which is what is happening to you). I moved out and currently live without cats, so when I go to visit my parents I now get very rashy and sneezy. It is all about what you get used to :)
