Every now and then I get an extremely itchy labia. There is no discharge (no different or abnormal discharge at least) with it, and it hasn't happened in a while (4 months). If I scratch it, after a little bit, little patches in the area bleed a tiny bit and bumps form. Sometimes the bumps are clearish and red. I went to the gyno, told her about it, and she said it wasn't an STD but didn't say anything else... what else could it be?? PLEASE help!!!Monday, December 5, 2011

Every now and then I get an extremely itchy labia. There is no discharge (no different or abnormal discharge at least) with it, and it hasn't happened in a while (4 months). Did your gynocologist run any tests to figure out what the problem was? Due to the lack of a satisfactory diagnosis, you should seek a second opinion the next time the problem crops up. Speak up-you are your own best advocate!
