Is Anyone Else Having Trouble With The Humalog Kwikpen?
My last two pens in my box have been jamming. I'll dial up the units and it jams when I try to deliver. So I hit it again and it'll go down a little and I end up fighting with it and a couple of times gave myself too much. Is anyone else having this problem?

John W - The Kwikpen manual says it's the needle that jams and you should try another needle and if a second needle doesn't work, it says call 1-800-545-5979 which is 1-800-Lilly-Rx. I can't say that I've ever had a pen jam but I don't use fast insulins, just slow insulins. I've used three pens, the Opticlick, the Solostar and the Novo pen. The Solostar is a disposable like the Kwikpen but it's never jammed on me.

ReplyDeleteIts funny that the two replies are the exact same as a yahoo question. Yes, I am having the same problem. I called Lilly and reported my problem and they said a person with quality control may or may not call me back. Ive been using these type of pens for years and the Kwikpen seems to be jamming. 2nd in a row for me just hope Lilly calls me back.
