Can The Nhs Do Tests For Food Intolerance?

396545383 i know the nhs can do test for allergies, like skin/blood tests etc but can they test for food intolerances? i bought a first step test from yorkplus and they said i was highly positive and what ever im intolerent to i need to stop for at least 3 months. The next step is £249.99 and i carnt afford it :(
i have spoke to my doctor and she said to wait 2 more weeks till i see a neurologist as he will do bloods anyway, instead of having 2 blood tests gonig here there and everywere, she said they can check for allergies but nothing bout intolerance

  1. Haggi - The Yorkplus and similar tests are unreliable and a complete waste of money.

If you really think you have a medical issue with a food stuff see your doctor.

  2. Babette - Ι think it is better seeing a doctor in person to answer this kind of questions.
