Should I Get Tested For Diabetes?

396545384 I have been very sick for a while. I black out after eating large/carb filled meals. If I skip a meal then the next time I eat something it gives me high and then I crash. I am constantly tired and I have headaches and mild to severe pains in my sides. I also have to use the restroom with increasing frequency and am always naseus.
I have been tested with bloodtests and ultrasound for any abnormalities but none were found. After that I kind of gave up on figuring out whats wrong.
I feel bad for my parents paying these medical bills for no reason so I would like your opinion.

  1. John W - Doesn't sound like diabetes, more like reactive hypoglycemia. If you've been tested with blood tests then you've probably already been tested for diabetes.

  2. maria - If you care about your health, you should pay attention to the following symptoms:

    1. extreme thirst and hunger

    2. frequent urination and increased urine volume

    3. weight loss

    4. blurred vision

    5. easy infection such as urinary tract infection

    6. slow healing of sores and wounds

    7. very dry skin

You may have one or two of the symptoms but it is usually not so easy to recognize Diabetes. There are people who have no symptoms when they have this disease. Therefore, when you have any discomfort, the best choice for you is to consult your doctor.
