396545382 Hi. I'm 13 and a girl. I gotten big.this year. I now weight 145 pounds. Im 4 foot 10. I am gonna start tomorrow. Here's my plan - lunch and.dinner only. ( small portions. ) after that work out an hour everyday. I am gonna jog or if its to cold,I got this bike thing I can do for an hour or more. I last 15 pounds last year by doing this. Lunch curly fries, small portion and dinner whatever there is and only had a small portion if it. This helped me lose weight. I know that ain't healthy but it actually worked. I was gonna do it again and add workouts. Is this a good idea? Btw I'm not doing the curly fries. I'm using salads and sandwiches this time. No more pop. I'm only drinking water and green tea. Is this a good diet plan? I wanna start tomorrow and go all the way to May. Will I lose this weight? I am gonna try to kise my belly, legs, arms and chin fatt. I don't wanna be to skinny ir to big. I wanna be average weight. Around 115/110. Is this very good? Anything else I need to know?

  1. Baileyy York - you need breakfast hun.

BIG breakfast(so your metabolism can kick off) Of like egg whites ww toast peanut butter
Small lunch0 salad(easy on the dressing) maybe a sandwhich? No cheese(unless you like laughing cow) and no mayo.

Small workout for 30 minutes-small snack

Dinner- meats and veggies (easy on carbs)

    Workout for 45 minutes.

  2. dk10vkf - Skipping breakfast is a one-way street to binge-eating during lunch and/or dinner, and now that you are dieting, you want to avoid binge-eating at all costs. Limiting portions is a VERY GOOD idea, although I would recommend that you start by reducing your portion by 10%, and then gradually working your way down to 50%. The exception is breakfast: eat as hearty and filling a breakfast as you can. With this being said, do not binge on breakfast. Try to have breakfast at least 30 minutes AFTER waking up, not earlier. Speaking of portion reduction, the meal that you eat when you are inactive (i.e. if your evening routine is sit around and do homework/read/watch TV, then dinner would be such a meal) should be the one that receives the most drastic portion reduction. You may have heard some people talking about how you should not eat dinner after 5 or 6 PM. This is because most people are rather inactive during the evening, and food takes at least 4 hours to properly pass your stomach. Speaking of food taking at least 4 hours to properly pass, most sumo wrestlers gain their weight by binging on noodles and then napping.

Speaking of sumo wrestlers binging on noodles, do not eat too much carbs.

If you are a night owl and nighttime hunger strikes, go for fruits, veggies, and maybe an egg or two. Do not worry about sugar and the resultant calories in fruits; fructose does not add significantly to blubber.

With this being said, do avoid refined sugar. In addition to pop, this includes "white" grains, such as white bread and white rice. Pastas and noodles are a bit trickier to deal with in the whole "white" category because wheat may be white in colour, but it does not necessarily mean that it was refined. Anyways, if you have not yet, learn to love whole wheat bread and brown rice. While they may be a bit dry and and take longer to chew, they fill you up quickly.

Avoid animal fat except for fatty fish. Fatty fish, such as salmon, tuna, and mackerel, are good for you, and I encourage eating them. Now, what I meant by avoiding animal fat:

Avoid butter- sorry, but this also means avoid going out for a meal in general- almost ALL restaurants use butter somewhere when cooking, and let's not talk about fast-food joints.
Drain as much fat as you can when you cook meat- bacon and duck in particular (if it means putting them in an oven with grills so that the fat can drain through (of course, do use something to catch all that fat), then do it!) Or, since you are only 13, ask your parents to drain fat from the meat when cooking them
    Avoid lard
Trim excess fat from meat (ask your parents to trim excess fat before cooking)

While on this matter, I will discuss eating eggs. Do eat them because they fill you up very quickly without eatting too many of them.

Drizzling vegetable oil into your food is okay, although do not deep-fry your food in vegetable oil. Heck, avoid deep-fried foods in general.

Not drinking pop is a very good idea. Adding workouts is another good idea. Drinking water is another very good idea. I have no comment about green tea since it will not have that much of an effect. Working out is another good idea. Focus on cardio, and do not work out specific parts of the body to lose fat there; it will not work (i.e. do not do sit ups thinking that it will lose belly fat). Lift weights AFTER you lost all that actual fat from your body- only when you actually DON'T have all that blubber around the body will muscles help you look better.

Some additional comments: lunch of curly fries and small portions of dinner worked because you ate in SMALL PORTIONS. Good for you for ditching the curly fries.

  3. onlytryingtohelp - forget green tea. Forget fry ups. Forget snacks, fizzy pop, sweets, cakes, biscuits, junk food. Make sure you eat enough - you probably put the weight back on by eating crap.

you are a bit fat as you are really short. Yo-yoing weight at your age is really bad and your parents need to learn how to feed you. In self defence, go learn about nutrition; lots of carbs, veg, fruit, some protein, some dairy. The exercise is good too.
