I found cyst(s)? on both of my breasts a few weeks ago. My family has a past with breast cancer, my great grandma, & grandmothers sisters had breast cancer. Will I be able to get one done? How much is it in the state of Arizona? :o Any help is appreciated !

LINDA R - First, see your gynecologist. He or she can give you advice about what tests you need, based on your symptoms and family history. Cost would depend on your insurance company.
ReplyDeleteNehhhh - Your family doctor would know your history and know if one is needed or if they just gonna them puppies off.
ReplyDeleteLatest studies indicate that most mammogrphies are not even needed for most women unless there is a family history of cancer.
ρερρεяЬεαѕτ - Lots of people your age have breast cysts, but your chances of developing breast cancer under age 20 are something like 1 in a million.

ReplyDeleteAnd cysts aren't cancer or dangerous.
Denisedds - Mammograms are not done on 18 year-olds. See your doctor and if he or she feels imaging needs to be done they will likely order an ultrasound.
