i want to do the insanity workout program to increase my cardio and overall endurance. i do endurance races on my dirtbike and they are often 70 miles through sandy muddy or rocky terrain and usually wreck havoc on my body. by about midway through one of these races i don't have enough energy to ride all out anymore. so i'm sure if i do the insanity workout that i can increase my overall endurance. the only problem is that i don't regularly workout and i've heard that this isn't a program for people like that. i know how to push myself and even if i get off to a slow start with the program i'd like to know if it would
help at all.

2naughty4u - Sorry but insanity will not work for you...you need a starting point. You need to calculate your caloric intake, create a calorie deficit in your diet, eat more whole foods, get on a specific exercise routine that combines strength training and interval training. Your going to be boosting your metobolic rate to extremely high levels allowing your body to burn body fat and gain lean muscle even while you sit and watch television. Just doing some random workouts with insanity with no understanding of the principles behind what your trying to accomplish will result in failure! I would hate to see you spin your wheels for months on end and then end up frustrated and quit.
