I just had a violent allergic reaction to something. Hives all over my body that were hard to suppress, even with prednisone. I am not normally prone to this and the only new thing I can remember being exposed to is a compression shirt I just bought for workouts. I just found the tag and it says it was treated with "Superclear T-200" anti-odor treatment. I wonder if this is the problem. Has anyone out there had a reaction to it? Does anyone know where I could get an MSDS for the product? Will washing eventually remove it? Any
help appreciated, this was very scary and serious reaction to something - I need to find out what caused it.
Otts Shoals - It is probably a silver technology from one of the two companies referenced. If so, unless coins cause you to break out, it is not the anti-odor, but may be the agent that it is applied with. You will need to contact the companies for the MSDS as those are not public info. However, without the MSDS, it is a bit of an educated guess. For example T-100 is not silver based, but "anti-odor" is usually an indication of silver.
