On November 3,2011 I am getting my braces off. I am really nervous i have had them for two years. I have them on the bottom and top. I dont have to wear any hear gear. Its just regular braces:) Im scared to get them off. Will it hurt ? Will they look bad? How long will i have to wear my retainer? How do they get them off? What are the steps ? ReplyDeleteSarah - all they do is cut the wires, nothing compared to when you got them put on. :)

Shaughty Grl - why are you nervous??? you should be happy that your teeth are going to look beautiful. It will not hurt a lot maybe just a little pressure. The orthodontist has to take off the wires and remove the brackets one by one. This is very time consuming maybe about half an hour to an hour. You will have to wear your retainer for at least 2 months. Good luck :)
