I'm 22, female, not overweight and I don't smoke or drink.I do have an irregular heartbeat but the doctors aren't worried about it. They claim it's common.
Is it normal to get sharp heart pains because of this or could it be something else?
It's not heartburn I know the difference.
I also get almost the exact same sharp pain on my right side exactly on the same place my heart is (on the opposite side of course)
This pain is even more sharp, it only lasts acouple minutes and nothing seems to bring it on or make it worse...
What could be causing this???

aziz - it sounds like non cardiac chest pain, probably muscular pain, but for chest pain every time you have to evaluate to exclude heart.
