lechtsdiane - Probably not because they don't work the lower abdomen. I just do reps (no timer), like starting at 10 and work my way up (to as many as i can do) and back down when I do sit ups. Leg lifts are supposed to work the lower abs but I really hate those. Lying on your back lift your legs just slightly up so they aren't touching the floor and hold that position for 10 seconds or more, then repeat.
Bilbo - You can't do this if you have much excess body fat - but it maintains muscle tone and provides some exercise so it won't hurt to do it whatever the outcome. Try it and see - just don't get your hopes up too high - and be careful not to set yourself up for back pain.
Amund - Depends if you are fat or not.

ReplyDeleteballin - Running and burning fat will make your abs show. Doing sittups will help too just to make them more bulky.
ReplyDeleteLilly - I dunno
