Why Is It That Some People Look At You "disgusted" When You Have Acne?

396545389 Around August, I broke out with Acne (Acne Vulgaris, common name) and some of my friends said: "You shouldn't be around us because you have acne." or "You better take care of that problem on your face" and they just stopped talking/ interacting with me.

I know, what a bunch of F*cking A*sholes. But I moved on and my acne has cleared up but now, the same old friends want me to get back in the "group".

What is your perspective on this? Am I being too nice or are my friends too shady/shallow?

  1. Sorority - Well, they are horrible! My boyfriend used to have acne, and though he tried to get rid of it, it wouldnt go away, yet it has now.

  2. Amber V - i mean obviously acne isn't a very... pleasant thing for anyone to look at but they are being such shallow ass holes if they actually wouldn't talk to you for something that you couldn't control. that's like saying you don't want to be friends with someone because they have diabetes.... that's just awful.

  3. Hello - People are responding to your acne and not you. It is the same reaction when people see a mold on bread or cheese. Try not to take it personally and there is a simple way to get rid of it.

Niacinamide face cleansing pads are effective and simple way to keep acne away. Just place a pad on the pimple and watch it fade away.
Niacinamide pads are also known as Nicotinamide pads or Vit B3 pads.
Give them a try and you will be pleasantly surprised.
