Sets And Reps Workout Help?

396545382 hey everyone,

just started a new workout routine, the ryan hughes muscle building one.
started to read the reps and sets and i'm a bit confused so i need help this is what some of the sets and reps look like,

5 sets 15,12,10,8,6
4 sets 12,10,8,8

at the moment i think its doing the reps but x5 and then x4
but im abit confused.

also if the workout shows barbell and dumbbell curls does it mean i either do one or the other or both?

  1. A Sun - 5 sets 15,12,10,8,6 (dropping sets, each subsequent set with less reps) =
    1st set of 15 reps
    2nd set of 12 reps
    3rd set of 10, etc

    Barbell and dumbbell curls are not that different, you can use either.
