Pain After Getting Fillings?

396545381 So I went to the dentist the other day and had 4 fillings 2 which were in between my teeth... I didn't have any pain at all or sensitivity before getting these done, but now its been about 3 days since i had the fillings done and those back teeth are driving me crazy... its not so much an intense pain anymore but it doesn't seem to go away so its very annoying. Does anyone know why this is happening? and how long it will last?

  1. Koda *Awaiting Winter* - Fillings can cause some irritation and soreness for up to a week after having them done, however if it persists or the pain get worse, than you need to be seen by your dentist right away. But I think given some time they will be just fine:)

  2. Ipsa Koehler - Filling can cause irritation and pain for a week. Wait for a week and if it persists longer, then get it corrected from your dentist. Pain can be because of some high point on dental filling or can be because of infection close to nerve. If there is some high point present, then dentist can do selective grinding for some pain relief.
