I do suffer from a lot of symptoms of depression, but why do i alwys get better when i eat food? What could it be? Im very mad baout the past (btW)
LABL - I have a strong suspicion that you are eating an overabundance of carbohydrates in order to compensate for you feelings of anger and depression. Carbohydrates especially chocolates and other sweets will raise the level of serotonin in your brain and make you feel better emotionally -- at least for a little while. That same intake of high carbohydrates will raise your insulin levels to take care of that overabundance of sugar/ glucose in you blood stream. When those insulin levels fall, you once again feel the cravings for more sugar and the cycle repeats itself. You are more likely than not self-inducing hypoglycemic episodes to occur because of your depression. Get yourself onto a diet of lower carbohydrates, eat more real protein, stay away from low fat foods. Good luck and may God bless you.
