When your blood sugar's higher than it should be, but not extremely high, do you ever feel really hyper? Like you can't control yourself and you just want to scream a little bit?
Nana Lamb - any glucose reading over normal, 65 to 99 mg/dL, will make you lethargic, sluggish, sleepy, tired, etc. Yeah, it makes me super aggravated and I throw things, tantrums and scream a lot, but doesn't make me feel hyper or really very happy with anyone or anything.
Kai - When my blood glucose goes higher than normal, my toes get twitchy and whiny--they start being oversensitive to the way the sheets feel, they don't want to be in shoes and/or socks, they become hard to live with and they make walking kind of hard to do because they are whining so much (I don't want to do this! Just leave us alone! I'm not happy so I'm making you unhappy because you did this to us!) but because they are whining I make them suffer by making them walk until they shut up. Yea, my toes have always kept me apprised of my physical condition--10 of them griping and complaining, makes me think twice about eating something I know is going to set them off.
Cammie - High blood sugar makes you feel tired and sluggish, not hyper .
