I got my braces taken off and everything looks great -- no spots, they're white and shiny!!! -- but i have noticed that I cannot drink anything cold or hot. This sensitivity has gotten worse (just my front teeth) as the day has gone by and I'd like to know if thats normal. The removal went fine, altho when they scraped the glue off of my front teeth that hurt a lot too.
James - Not used to nothing restraining it
ReplyDeleteJust like when u had them on or when tightens it takes about a week but results are with it :)
Shy Girl :) - Yes that is very normal.
ReplyDeletedont worry. it can go away after 1 week like that. :)
Makenzie2 - Well, only portions of your teeth have been exposed or the past how ever long. And the parts that haven't been exposed because of the glue and metal are sensitive. Plus, those parts of your teeth aren't used to the hot and the cold. If it is still bothering you after a week or two I would go back to your orthodontist or your dentist and see what's going on.
ReplyDeleteThat's only normal. When you experience sensitivity, though, it will help if you buy dental products and eat food that don't give you any discomfort. That way, you don't always have to endure pain.
