  1. Dylan Pointon - stress, any form of hard physical exercise and A lot of salt. Try and keep salt and stress to a minimum and you should be fine. Exercise is a temporary thing as it goes down when you start resting.

    1) Take medications regularly, if prescribed.
    2) Regular B.P. checkup (Target < 130/90 mm Hg.) and reduce overweight. Excess weight adds to strain on the heart. In some cases, weight loss may be the only treatment needed.
    3) Cut down smoking.
    4) Avoid alcohol (i.e., binge drinking).
    5) Control diabetes, if diagnosed with.
    6) Exercise regularly to help your heart.
    7) Don’t be sedentary / move around help yourself in little things.
    8) Avoid tension
    9) Low sodium intake. Salt, MSG, and baking soda all contain sodium. Increase fruits, vegetables, and fiber.
    10) Low fat diet.
