slyyyyyyy - There are usually two adjectives associated with a cancer: aggressive and invasive.
Invasive means the cancer has spread beyond the layer of tissue where it originally developed. (Sometimes, it is not considered cancer until it does so.)
Aggressive means that this specific type of cancer has either shown quick progression and damage in your specific case, or that is has done so in other cases previously documented.

These cancers are more likely to recur, spread and in general are more dangerous than cancers with a lower grade. In prostate cancers this is known as the Gleason score. The highest, or worst sore is 10.

ReplyDeleteBut I looked it up. It turns out that all prostrate cancer is "Aggressive"
Stage 2 Aggressive means that it can be felt, but it remains attached to only your prostrate gland. You have a good chance of getting it treated.
Good luck man.......I'm glad I know what I have to look forward to in my later years - sigh
