I went to the doctor for severe stomach pain on my right hand side and they found a tubular shaped mass. The surgeon says he wants to do a ct scan but I don't want one. I'm 22 and already have been exposed to plenty of radiation, I dont want more! Any way to diagnose this mass without a ct scan?I am not sure if you are being sarcastic but i'd rather have someone open me up and look around.
I had 2 doctors tell me I should not have a ct scan because it could cause cancer. So that's why I'm asking...
