Is There A Food I Could Add To My Diet To Reduce Nightmares?

396545384 I have had awful nightmares for years usually related to an to something that happened years ago.
Unfortunately the amount of nightmares have risen to a point which they happen on a nightly basis and they are having an awful impact on my day to day life.

I am depressed and stressed and I believe my nightmares have increased due to stress.

Many thanks

  1. Bald Eagle - You need to seek help like counseling not help with food. Don't eat late and eat healthy.

  2. micksmixxx - I'm with Bald Eagle, my friend. It's counselling [counseling, if you are, in fact, one of my American cousins] that you should be seeking. Food, I'm afraid, isn't going to solve the psychological effects of the trauma you underwent years ago.

  3. Mr-kay- - It is in the mind and thoughts.

Don't eat heavy meals before bed time. Also write down your dreams and the thoughts you think concerning it. Try not to judge it just record what you minds saying.

Before bed, read or watch listen to something that you enjoy.

    Take care.
