I eat more than you could imagine and I don't do exercise or eat the healiest meals due to being a student. Usually ready made meals and pizza. Which is where I'm probably going wrong!
I would love to join the gym and get in to a healthy lifestyle with being a reasonable weight as I have always been self-concious.
Any advice on how to gain weight the healthiest and quickest way would be very helpful!

ReplyDeleteJonathan - some people just doesnt gain weight like me. i can eat all day and not gain that much as little as nothing , apparently i have a fast metabolism and my digestive system gets rid of everything. you might be the same, i've decided to embrace the idea not fight it.

ReplyDelete*Blush* - The healthiest way is to eat more complex carbs and protein, and do more strength building exercises (pushups, weight lifting, etc) these build muscle, which weighs more and gives you some more bulk and definition
ReplyDeleteFranipan - First off I'd start a meal diary and take it along to the doctors for advice. If your put on a calorie controlled diet by him you may find it works better than on your own.
ReplyDeleteBut I bet of you did have a proper look at your eatting you might find that although you have fatty food, ready meals and pizzas when you eat you're still not getting all the calories you need.
Even if you ate a whole pizza in the evening but missed lunch it's not going to add up to enough to put on weight.

ReplyDeleteWeight wise I would aim for 10 stone if you wanna still be slender/skinny but healthy. but you can go higher like up to 11 stone. And eat peanut butter, nuts, butter, and oil on chicken breast. Drink whole milk too. Maybe some bananas too?
