I fainted in school recently, and it has happened two years ago also. The doctor told me to get blood tests done. My appointment is tomorrow.
I think they're just trying to figure out if I have diabetes or not.
So how much blood will have to be drawn for this? And will it hurt?
Joe - One drop, probably.
ReplyDeletenbridas96 - i had a test done about a week ago, i didnt look but i felt like 1 whole tube taken out, it doesnt hurt, just feels weird. pluys they tie a rubber band around. it left me two small bruises though good luck
ReplyDeleteAntara Johnson - If they are only testing for diabetes than it should be only a finger prick (a drop of blood) but as you stated previously they are more than likely unsure of what could be wrong, so the doctor should have ordered a full blood work which is one or more tubes of blood. But just let me state... once the needle is in your arm than you will surely not know how much blood is taken, it is the first prick of the needle that you will feel. Good luck.
