Well my dad's sister, mom, and grandmother had diabetes. My mom's grandfather had diabetes. And my dad figured out he has diabetes the other day. I am 13 always hungry!

Gary B - The ONLY way to KNOW if you have diabetes is by taking the HbA1C Blood Test. This test is 100% accurate, almost painless, and relatively cheap. ANY doctor can have it done. Some CVS and Walgreens pharmacies offer it for FREE. [You must be 18 to take the test without parents permission.]
ReplyDeleteDiabetes SHARES its symptoms with other diseases, INCLUDING PUBERTY. At 13, it is MORE likely that your symptoms are puberty, AND not diabetes. With symptoms, you do not KNOW, you only GUESS.
Still, ask mom and dad to let you take the HbA1c test to KNOW for sure.
Skinny-Man - well a normal sighn you have diabeties is if you start going to the bathroom like every 2 to 5 minutes i know casue my father my uncle and mom has it and when they started going alot they went to the dr and they found out they had it two of them had it for about five to ten years without knowing it untill they went to the emergency room peeing every 5 minutes .

2. You need the toilet a lot
3. Your mouth is dry
4. Your vision is blurry
5. You have cuts and other sores that take a while to heal
6. You experience itching in and around the vagina
7. Your hands and feet feel numb and tingle
8. The skin on your neck, armpit and groin suddenly gets darker
9. You have inexplicably lost or gained weight
If you have these symptoms then it means you have diabetes.
