yesterday i noticed my right ear lobe was itchy. last night when i went to bed, my jaw line was itchy. i woke up this morning and i had/have hives all over my face and neck. they itch very bad. also, my right lymph node seems swollen. i have no allergies. i've never had the chicken pox, but i've had the vaccine for it when i was like 14 (i'm 20 now.) any ideas on what it might be?
PRINTS - Sounds like a question for a doctor . . . right?
ReplyDeleteCould be various things including insect/spider bite causing allergic reaction? Some people also react to poison ivy that way, even if they only inhale smoke when someone burns it.
Look up rash on face and see what you come up with. There are other causes besides chicken pox. Fifth disease can also affect adults. Call the doctor if it does not go away or gets worse. Swollen lymph nodes means something is going on in your body.
Donnie - I think you might have what is called Urticaria. Here is a website on it:

The hives bring on the swollen lymph glands bc your body is fighting the infection. You can google some helpful home remedies but what usually works for me are all at GNC. They are Colloidal Silver, Olive Leaf Extract pills, Garlic pills and ACV or Apple Cyder Vinegar pills. Everything that I take are all antibacterial agents that work in the body naturally; and colloidal silver kills over 650 known virus, bacterium and fungi. I've done my research on them, but I would say for you not to follow me, but do all of your research on what you feel comfortable with taking first. I hope this helps :-)
