Enlarged Painless Lymph Node In Breast Mean Lymphoma?

396545116 My doctor is not concerned at all and he said it looks like a normal but enlarged lymph node in breast (underside) I keep reading aoubt it and painless ALWAYS means lymphoma ?? is this true
he said it had probably been there since I was young

  1. TOMMI L - No, it probably harmless but I would defiantly get a mamogram every 3 yrs ( or yrly if your over 45) to keep an eye on things

  2. well wisher - There are no lymph nodes in breast.
    All lymphatic drainage from breast goes to axillary nodes.
    Update your knowledge.

  3. elvis - For starters, stop reading and trust your doctor.

    Lymph nodes can be shotty. This is often when they swell infection or something and never return to normal size.
