Diabetic And Have Really Bad Sweaty Armpits ?

396545384 i have diabetes type 1 since i was 14. im now 20.. for the first few years of being a diabetic, i dont have any problems with excessive sweaty armpits until this recent 2 years or so. i will have sweaty armpits even sitting in an air cond room, not doing anything and its really making me uncomfortable especially when im attending lectures or in campus. my diabetes is not controlled well at all.. is diabetes the reason that caused my sweaty armpits? is there anyway to stop having sweaty armpits? any diabetics out there are having th same problem as i am? pls help. thanks

  2. curious george - I get that when I have low blood sugar but it's all over my body. I woke up once with pretty terrible low blood sugar and my bed/clothes were virtually soaked with sweat all over. I have always been pretty sweaty though. You sweat more when you're in ill health and eat lot's of junk I find. More toxins = more efforts by the body to eradicate them. In saying that you might even have high ketones (which are kinda toxins). It's important to keep tight control of your blood sugar to prevent this sort of thing as it makes you pee more as well (which is annoying). The answer is simple, just take better control of your condition, drink enough water, eat right and use an anti-perspirant.
