I hate them. I have many cavities down so I'm sure it's noticeable. So I rarely smile or laugh. I remember my doctor saying that each white filling would be 30 bucks. I'm thinking that when I get money I won't mind getting them replaced. But is it possible? do i have to pay more for them to take out the silver ones?
sunshine_mel - There would probably be a fee to remove the old ones in order to fill with white, but yes, it would definitely be possible
ReplyDeleteBob C - Is sounds like 30 each would include the removal.
ReplyDeleteThe only thing to bear in mind is some of the reasons you place a metal filling are if;
The cavity is very large.
Moisture issues.
The stress of your bite.
This factors all boil down to the fact white fillings are essentially glued in plastic and therefore can't take the stresses of an anchored in metal one. As a result I'd make sure to ask is how well will the white ones last if swapped.
