Can Allergic Reactions To Condoms Cause This?

396545383 im a 20 yr old male. is it possible that if your allergic to latex condoms or spermacide can it cause some kind of bacterial or infection in your groin area and make your lymph node in that area tender and painful? because ive been going thru this and i dont know what it could be. the doctor diagnosed me with lymophoma and said i could have a bacterial infection but all i could think of is the last time i had sex

  1. Rosie - any type of allergic reaction can exasperate an existing condition.

  3. Steve - One thing I have learned is anything is possible when it comes to allergies. The best scenario would be testing with a practitioner to get the most reliable and absolute diagnosis. I would also suggest googling any information you can find on the symtoms and forward them to your doctor/s. Doctors don't always know everything there is about everythng and you might be surprised about what you can find on your own. Don't think it takes the place of going to the doctor however.

    Good Luck!
