A few months ago, I went to the orthodontics to apply for braces when I was 15 and they examined my teeth and said I had gingivitis. I'm Sixteen now and I'm going to go to the Orthodontics in 6 days but I checked my gums and they are inflamed a little.
I'm in full time education yet they said It's the last time I can apply for braces.
How do I reduce the swelling in six days?
Tori - the best thing to do is to make sure youo clean right up to the gum right where your teeth and gums meet and use a good mouthwash aswell i recommend with dental PH or corsadil(sorry i dont think it's spelt right) that should help and i dont think they will stop you getting braces if its not too bad i think you will be ok if its only a little but take extra care to clean them afterwards
